- New Delhi, May 22, 2010: The scorching summer-heat never plays a spoilsport when it comes to shopping! With this belief, Intex is all geared up to strike a chord with the shopping buffs thronging the malls. The campaign, named as “Intex Summer Carnival” / “Intex Mall-Mania” aims to enhance brand awareness and give the consumers a complete touch & feel experience of varied interesting products, under brand Intex, accompanied with some fun-filled and uproarious activities.
- Shipra Mall, situated at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, was the first mall to be covered under the campaign today. The two-day long weekend activity had an appealing stage with a vibrant display of Intex Multimedia Speakers, DVD Players, Desktops, TFT-LCD Monitors, and Headphones at the centre of the mall. The showstopper of the event, adding a dash of glamour, was the small act where Femina Miss India participants of yesteryears sashayed down the floor holding Intex products in hand. People did not seem to get enough of the exciting games and contests conducted by a vivacious emcee.

- Intex held its first-ever business development meet for mobile phones super stockists at Tivoli Gardens Resort, New Delhi on April 05, 2010. The super stockists (also known as super distributors) have recently become a part of Intex Family and the event aimed to commemorate the association and strengthen the bond further.
- The two-day event saw an overwhelming response from more than 30 partners who had especially flown down for the meet from various states across India.
- The team did not leave any stone unturned to make the best out of this get-together. There were presentations on the company, product portfolio,
sales plans, service, marketing & communication, etc. The partners had detailed conversations with company officials. All of them were felicitated with mementos by Mr. Narendra Bansal- Chairman & Managing Director, Intex.

- Intex made its presence felt amongst more than 200 participants at the recently concluded popular annual IT fairs IT-Expo, Pune and COM-IT, Mumbai held from Dec 10-14, 2009. We notched the top slot for best display at IT-Expo-2009.

- IT-Expo, organized by CMDA (Computers and Media Dealers Association) of Pune, is one of the biggest IT exhibitions of Western India and registers more than lakh visitors every year.
- Organised by TAIT (Trade Association of Information Technology), COM-IT Expo is one of the key IT events in South Asia APAC region. Intex has been participating in the same since last 3 consecutive years.
- Both events attract people in huge numbers and present an ideal platform for both B2B and B2C interface.

- A Caravan brightly draped in interesting streamers and backdrops on INTEX Mobile Phones went across four districts of West Bengal- Bankura, Birbhum, Burdwan and Purulia- for a week - Dec 24 to 30, 2009.
- To catch attention of the crowd further there was a live band – Krishti - on the van belting out Bengali folk and popular music.

Launches first exclusive store at Meerut
- After having positioned brand INTEX at more than 120 hyper markets and specialty stores across the country, through the shop-in-shop concept, for about three years, Intex has made a debut in the Small Format Retail segment by launching its first store – INTEX SQUARE- at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on September 1, 2009.
- INTEX has been diversifying and has been increasing focus on ways to bring the brand, product experience and service closer to the consumers. INTEX SQUARE will be set up with the joint efforts of the company and its committed channel partners. These partners have a good track record and a sound standing in the market. - The telecast has been planned in two Bursts.

A Business Development Meet (BDM) for PC, Consumer Electronics and Computer Peripherlas channel partners was held at Nasik on June 6, 2009. More than 250 distributors and dealers operating in Nasik and adjoining areas took part in the event.
The meet commenced with the inaugural note by Sanjay Chawla, director- San Computek- INTEX’s principal distributor in the region. Owing to the efforts put in by San Computek, Nasik has the distinction of having the highest no. of INTEX channel partners across India.
There were introductory sessions on the company and business plans by company officials – Nazim Ashraf , Santosh Khabia and Azhar Khan. Top 10 best performing resellers were felicitated with INTEX Star Achievement Awards.

As a part of our channel-support marketing initiatives, INTEX participated in the consumer durable & electronics expo - DIGILIFE - organized by HT Media Limited at Delhi, Lucknow & Chandigarh on April 18 - 19 and April 25 - 26 respectively. We had a display of INTEX products at the fair which was arranged and looked after by our distributors in the respective regions. Also, INTEX logo was present in all event related promotional advertisements and other collaterals.

After Mysore and Kolhapur, Intex has kicked off its outdoor campaign at select malls in Delhi & NCR. Four drop-downs, aesthetically designed, displaying INTEX PCs and Peripherals have been put up at MGF Mega City Mall, Gurgaon. The mall has a shop-in-shop centre for Intex products at its Spencer's hyper market store. 10 pole kiosks for Peripherals have been placed across Select City Walk Mall, Rohini. The drop-downs & kiosks have contact details, information on price range & USPs of the products to generate brand awareness & sales. The activity is on till April 25, 2008.

INTEX has associated with Neo Sports to display the brand in the form of a 'dynamic L-shaped' visual during the telecast of the ongoing India-Sri Lanka ODI series & Twenty-Twenty match from Jan 28-Feb 10, 2009. This activity is a continuation of our association with Cricket driven activations on Television.

Consumers had a ball of time with more than 40 of INTEX offerings displayed under one roof. This included Mobile Phones, Desktops, Notebooks, TFT-LCD Monitors, Computer Multimedia Speakers, DVD Players, Headphones, Keyboards, Mouse, UPS, Add-on products, etc.
One of the major attractions at the stall was the Gaming Zone put up in association with Intel. As a seasoned player at the IT & Electronics Pavilion, the stall did manage to pull media attention also and was visited and covered by TV channels - DD news, IBN 7 & News 24. There were news items in print media also like Hindustan, Amar Ujala, Rashtriya Sahara, etc.

The first-ever event targeting the enterprise segment held in association with Intel at New Delhi on May 16, 2008. The focused enterprises were SMBs-Small & Medium Buisness Enterprises- operating in the Delhi region.
Objectives:
- To promote Intel Core 2 Quad & Intel Core 2 Duo based INTEX desktops amongst the focus SMBs
- To create awareness & share advantages of Intel’s new technologies- Intel Core 2 Quad & Intel Core 2 Duo and show them how they can grow their business with Intel.

Participation in 'Servers Down'- gaming event at Amity, April 9-11, 2008
With an objective to enhance brand awareness amongst youths, INTEX participated as an IT Partner for the gaming event ‘Servers down’ at Amity Campus, Noida from April 9-11, 2008. There were 46 INTEX PCs and LCD Monitors with LAN setup for playing live games.
The event received a tremendous response and the winners were awarded with INTEX multimedia speakers. Also there was an INTEX stall showcasing the entire portfolio of desktops, notebooks and TFT-LCD monitors.
